Back home showered and changed.

Fished the middle of Poole Spoils from 9am-1pm until the tide made it unfishable for me.

Dogfish were a pest as soon as baits hit the bottom. Did manage

12lb Undulate

5lb Blonde

2 x Smoothies to about 8lb

2x Conger less than 15lb each

No cod.....

Dean and I thoroughly enjoyed today.  Fishing without struggling to stand up was a nice novelty

No cod for us but we did have plenty of congers, dogs, pout and one channel whiting.

Well done to Stuie for winning the Poole Sea Angling Centre competition by weighing in the only cod caught in that comp

Assuming there are no late posters that is 4 cod caught amongst 16 boats and 30 odd anglers, a very meagre return, they are just not there at present.

I counted 50 boats fishing the Car Park, I don't think our boats were alone in not catching, Private Venture did have one but that's all I heard of.

Well got to say a big well done to Stuie for his Cod and Dave for his whiting also a special well done to Andrew at Poole Sea Angling Centre for the great gesture in giving everyone that went back to the weigh- in a £25 voucher to spend in his shop, the food was also amazing. Lets hope there are a few more cod around for round two on December 17th.
