Hi Neal . . or anyone else.

Is the book-in at the liberal club ?

I can see that the weigh-in is.

Hi Everyone

Does anyone have a spare seat for Sunday?

I am offering myself up on a similar basis to Tiddler in that I will help feed the fish, but as a bonus I create a little bit less ballast than Jim!

Just phoned Andy.

YES there is a small buffet at the liberal hall so our wives can plan around that.

All we need to do is decide if we want feeding again when we get home.

After leaving home at 5am and much conversation on the way to Cobbs we went East and had some great fishing but nothing over 2lbs with 3-4 dead on 2lbs. Surrounded by charter boats they didn't fair much better I don't think. Had a friends lad out who had a pb bass and christened a new rod so Day was a success.

Well done to Kev and Jacob. Let's hope these easterly winds and winds in general go soon!!!

Tony took Neal and I out on his very comfortable Serenity. Straight to Dancing Ledge where the fish weren't too obliging, although I was fortunate to find a keeper.

Eventually the tide eased and we moved back to Ballard and met the armada. We dropped straight onto fish - and of a better 'stamp' than those at Dancing Ledge - although nothing else to weigh. Mine scraped 2lb 8.5oz.

Thanks for a most enjoyable day Tony - looking forward to the next one - if I'm allowed.  ;)

On Friday I drove 407 miles to Chillingham Castle in Northumberland for a wedding on Saturday, whilst there I got talking to a bloke and said that I was missing the club Bream competition, he was also missing his. We realised that we were both members of PBSBAC (Malcolm Nightingale) and that it is a small world.

Hope all that entered enjoyed the competition, I enjoyed the wedding and the dancing was world class from the Poole Bay Strictly Ballroom Artistic Club.

May go fishing one day.
