I dare not put into words what Jackie said about the above comments as it may get me barred from the site. For the record anyone who has fished with us knows just how keen she is and I am sure there are other ladies who are the same, Duncan you bad boy. Abode JACKIE and Craig We intended to take a weekend trip this year to Weymouth so it would suit us to go with friends as well. I am almost certain that Jackie will want to fish the weekend as shopping can be done at any time and good fishing and weather windows are rare. As I dont have a boat to trail anymore would be interested in coming down for the weymouth day/weekend/week as crew/dogsbody/whatever if anybody needs the afore mentioned. well versed in the art of beach/slipway launching. Had a great time last time I was down Martin and dean looked after us very well. Then start to talk to Weymouth/Portland about prices and discounts. Lets pick the first one, with a fall back two weeks later if the weathers poor. Fri 9th LW 1500 Sat 10th LW 1600 Sun Lw 1700 I will start to look into what facilities and costa are at Portland for the larger boats and for trailer boats. Also want to check what is now in the area ref pubs, food etc Too early to tell who crew will be, but may take Wendy for the whole trip rather than get her to meet us there. So far, showing an interest are: Alfresco Awol Joint Venture Serenity Wishin Abode 2 Phaeton ?? Quest 2 Sweet Chariot 2 White magic Prodigy By sea R2D2 trail down Ellen 2 trail down Jo Jo trail down Marineboy trail down If others are interested, or you wish to add anything please post. Re the cove, cost last year and this year for the WSF meet was as their published prices less 10% I guess we could arrange the same deal. The showers are the wrong side of the quay which is a pain however there are toilets within 40 metres of the pontoons. Also a pub(The Old Rooms) is within sight and does ok food.
