Club decision and Poole Sea Angling Centre decision to go ahead are separate.

If the forecast remains as seen today, I will call it off. Andy has larger Charter boats involved - he may have a reduced number of entrants.

I am mindful of the safety of Club Members.

I will revue again tomorrow evening and make the call to go ahead or cancel then.

Reserve date to be May 26th - maybe more Bream around by then as well!

Met Office forecast for Saturday

For coastal areas up to 12 miles offshore from Friday 10 May 2013 at 0001 UTC until Saturday 11 May 2013 at 0000 UTC

24 hour forecast: Southwest 6 or 7 decreasing 4 or 5. Rough becoming moderate. Rain or showers. Moderate or good.

Outlook: Southwest 4 or 5 increasing 6 to gale 8, then veering west 5 or 6. Moderate, occasionally rough. Occasional rain or showers. Good, occasionally moderate.

Don't think I would like to be out there

It still looks better on Sunday than Saturday - but still giving Force 4 westerly - Ballard everyone!

I think it safest to check again tomorrow - but looks most likely it will be re-scheduled for two weeks time.

Hopefully more Bream about.

Final look by lunchtime tomorrow.

I suspect the Poole Sea Angling Centre Bream Comp will still be on - but I will check
