We use an old Royal Mail sack or just weigh them in the net and weigh the net (every time )after and subtract the difference. Greg Posted May 18, 2023 Report Share Posted May 18, 2023 Nice fishing Neil. I do the same as Colin. My net comes off of the pole so it is easy to hook my scales onto the net. PS, I would like to add that usually I support the belly when handling. But, for vanity I was trying to photograph the fish, which is tough to do single handed. I now carry a tripod and phone holder. Tripod has flexi legs that can grip any rail If really struggling i take a video.
