nightingale300 Posted May 18, 2014 Report Share Posted May 18, 2014 Dont get many fine days like today. It was good to get dad out on his own boat today but a shame he didn't connect with any fish. My brother Andrew had 8 bream the best 2lb 2oz and I had 6 bream the best going 2lb 11oz caught on a whole side of mackerel to try and tempt a ray. Anyway great day had by all. iansimpson63 Posted May 19, 2014 Report Share Posted May 19, 2014 I was lucky enough to crew for Neal on Court Jester and we had a fantastic day with scores of Bream up to 2lb15oz and averaging 2ib 4oz. I had a real education in the fine art of Bream bites as well as how to communicate with Jet Ski riders. Good to meet quite a few club members on the water and back at the weigh in, club fees were worth it for Sunday alone. Ark Posted May 19, 2014 Report Share Posted May 19, 2014 What an enjoyable day around the bay. Lots of bream biggest to me 3lb 7 oz got me 4 th in the angling shop comp. Jacob had a cracking 11 lb 3 oz small eyed, and good old Dave topped up my specie hunt. We had some good banter with Charlie and crew, we should have tied up to him we were so close.You don't get to many days like that at sea. Jet skiers seem to struggle to understand that other water users are happy to see them at a distance but not close up at silly speeds. Good on yer Neal.
