Flounder Comp - this Sunday

This coming Sunday is the Annual Flounder Competition

 

I am considering moving the weigh in to Cobbs Quay - better facilites, bar, car parking etc - any objections?

 

Bob Horne Memorial trophy for the winner, plus a Christmas Hamper!

 

Weigh in 5pm latest - add your names to the list in the usual manner

I think you have all seen the weather for this weekend

 

I am calling it off - I will re-schedule for next week end, although the tides are less favourable. But I want the Hamper won before xmas.

 

I hope you can still make it next week end and that the weather improves.

Sorry guys - got this one wrong!

 

Every forecast I looked at said 15mph minimum - gusting to 25mph

 

Even when I looked last night.

 

This morning - nothing and was ok up until 4.00pm when the rain hit

 

Bugger - and I went out and then caught my first flounder for years and years!
