great white Posted October 4, 2004 Report Share Posted October 4, 2004 Hi all, I have just recieved confirmation from Jim Whippy that James Parker has finished equal 4th in this years competition in the Boat Fishing Monthly. James finished on 185 points and has now won a place in the final on October 29th. a free days fishing with bait supplied can not be bad. The final will be fished on Random Harvest or True Blue out of Poole with the prizegiveing at the Thistle Hotel at about 1600. If I can sneak off work I think I will pop along at the end to see how it went. I would like to congratulate James on behalf of the Club and of course wish him all the best for the final. Whatever the format for the day I am sure you will enjoy it. Say hello to Malcolm and Andy from us, and do not let the pressure of being the local man get to you.
