Greg Posted March 10, 2023 Report Share Posted March 10, 2023 I know this is not boat related but I have quite a bit of petrol in the garage that I put in the mower. As this is now one year old (approx) can I refresh it by adding a fuel stabiliser such as Mountfeild Fuel Stabiliser to use in the mower ? If not any suggestions? plaicemat Posted March 10, 2023 Report Share Posted March 10, 2023 From my research last autumn, it is designed to keep fuel stable rather than treat that which is already suspect. You don't need much in there so I would suggest using it as a matter of course. However, having said that, I recently used some 2 year old fuel in my rotovator and it started first pull so I'd be tempted to just go for it. Terry.
