Dead Fish

The pond at the Hamworthy end of Upton park is in a sorry state and the lack of rain has left the last bit of water with so little oxygen that the fish are dying.

Some plucky kids and their mums have waded in to save some.

Just a few of the dead fish are lined up in the foreground. They were concentrating on saving the live ones so many more still in the muddy water.

They tried phoning various agencies without any sensible answers so they felt that something had to be done.

What a fantastic effort.

I take my hat off to them.

👍

Walking along the beach at Hamworthy pier.

I could see 2 blokes with spades digging a hole.  I was quite intrigued so went for a "butchers".

Well I was surprised to see some wheels sticking up.

My "flabber" was fully "gasted"

What a waste of public funds to correct this mindless act.

There will be managers' wages.

There will be admin wages.

There will be 2 blokes digging wages and probably lots more.

Take a look at this picture.

Next time someone says there's no money from the authorities show them this.

I can only guess . . . . . . Males & Beer and plenty of giggling but it's a senseless waste of resources especially at this point in time.

There!

End of Rant.

Just in case you're interested . . . . Asda  . . .and almost new.

The guys were saying that they had to get a "Beryl bike" from the middle of Poole park lake a couple of weeks ago.  😒
