Rob Posted December 5, 2014 Report Share Posted December 5, 2014 So, early start, set off at sunrise. Planned to anchor and fish maccy heads from the summer to try and catch a bar of silver. Well, who would have thought I would have found 1/2 a dozen mackerel whilst feathering at anchor. So I up sticks and went on the drift. It was lovely, no Ned for gloves but still chilly. Had one of about 4 to 5 lb, then lost a biggy, braid caught round rod tip!!!! Then a smaller 45cm bass. Great day! Home boat trucked away by half 2.
