Coddy Posted March 9, 2004 Report Share Posted March 9, 2004 Hi Bob Our club boats all carry flares. Last year I cleared out the old flars as some were 20+ years out of date!!!! I contacted the local coastguard and they accepted them for disposal. In all we had 26 flares that were well out of date. I hate to think what would have happened if some of the older ones went off when out at sea in the cuddy. Some were quite rusty.
