All sounds very interesting, seems I missed the thread before as I must have been away.

 

The standard safety margin for fuel is there and back and out there again. blink.gif

 

This allows you enough fuel should the sea state turns so that you can not get up on the plane which consumes more fuel. sad.gif

 

On average my 60hp 4 stroke consumes 5galls (22.5ltrs) every 20+ miles

 

I would therefore suggest the minimum amout to take would be x 3 22.5ltrs tanks.

 

Kam would be right to have a little extra in reserve.

Cheap(er) petrol and diesel over at Jersey and Gurnsey...... tongue.gif

 

The 18/19th is mid tide so shouldn't be much of a problem.

 

Because the weather has to be absolutely perfect, why don't we pencil in a few dates, just incase the first one doesn't work out.
