I need all the explination I can get Coddy I'm not to sure that the rubber tube can be the speedo pressure pipe. That type of spedo requires the pitot head to be in clear water. If it came from the gearbox area there would be some prop' vortex for sure and that would upset the reading. IMO it's a 'Ask the man in the shop' question.
