Make sure mum gets plenty of rest over the next few days, and enjoy every moment... first bath....first nappy change by you! they'll all be unforgettable moments and see you through the early weeks. I've heard driving the baby arround poole harbour with a bt of gentle rocking at anchor should send it off - pity I didnt have my boat in those days to try it...
