Leicester Fisheagle Posted August 8, 2017 Report Share Posted August 8, 2017 Left Cobbs around 2 pm. with Dave L on board, the other crew member having opted out a few hours earlier. The promised weather forcast did not materialise and condition late afternoon were a tad uncomfortable. Fishing was good and some 6 different marks were tried with half outside the harbour. Our main target were plaice and we kept three good keepers around 2lbs. and smaller fish around a pound being returned.being returned. Around a dozen species were caught including seven gurnards, six tubs and one grey. So plenty of small stuff to keep us interested. I am still waiting for a red for the Species Comp. Despite feathers being out most of the time, only one mackeral was caught which was very disappointing. Allan.
