Hi all i was just wondering if anyone can advise on a good camera for fishing.I have a sony cybre shot but its got a fault, and i was told buy the sony centre it's a minuim charge of 150.00 bucks for camera repairs.I dont think i paid a lot more when i bought it, so it looks like im going to have to buy another camera.I caught a lovely 2.5lb bream on sunday and wanted to take a picky,and i know the way my fishing been going im gonna need it a lot more biggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif ok so may be that's stretching the truth a tad but any advise would be appreciated. cheers Rob.

Some guys have these Olympus waterproof cameras - they are good cameras anyway and being tough and waterproof in a bonus - + they are suprisingly small.

 

Alun J has one - he could advise.

Panasonic, canon and Fuji also do versions.

 

I have a sony normal digital compact camera and have a waterproof case for it (3m\10ft). This is because at the time the tough cameras did not have an AF assist light, but the case was expensive but I got it in Canada which was much better for the wallet!
