Paul J Posted July 29, 2005 Author Report Share Posted July 29, 2005 Just a quick update for those who don't attend the meetings We are well underway with the preparations for Novembers Open Boat Comp. There is a lot to do which is why we start early. We also to need to secure venues,advertising and sponsorship as soon as practical. This is our biggest fundraising activity as well as being an excellent way to promote the Club. This years event is going to be biggest yet! Weve already got several of the Charter Boats booked in One of the keys to our success in previous years has been the level of sponsorship weve had which provides us with a very attractive prize table. We do need as much help with this as possible so if anyone knows a business that can donate prizes, goods or services we would be most grateful. This is to provide cover for the registration and weigh in if it's pouring with rain. Does anyone have anything suitable that we can borrow for the day?
