Graham Nash Posted December 3, 2011 Report Share Posted December 3, 2011 I have been looking at a "project" for over the winter. The engine is my concern. Ideally I would like an inboard but i think that may be more work than I am capable of doing so it looks like outboard is the way to go. I see I can buy a brand new optimax 125 for around 7 1/2 grand or a 150 for around 9 grand, both of which are more than I want to spend (if I can spend less). My question is ... where do all the second hand engines go? I rarely see any second hand ones other than on ebay. He has done some bits to it that I am not a fan of, but it's a diesel british raider (which are supposed to be much better than mine????)
