alun j. Posted September 15, 2010 Report Share Posted September 15, 2010 HI Gordon, I can recommend the Ugly Stik Custom Graphite .... and find 8 ft is better for boat fishing than the 9 ft. I had a Daiwa Powermesh that was lighter that was also good............ until a Spikey pulled it over the sjde !! Adam told me about a Rovex Pro Lure which I've seen and might get to replace above. It's got the power in reserrve too - I've boated conger to 40lb, tope to 25lb, bass to 14lb as well as blonde and thornback rays. Bought one for George too now! They get my vote!
