Paul J
It is an offence to retain on board or land a lobster or crawfish which has a notch cut in its tail or which has a mutilated tail. Whjy is this? is it to do with breeding? PJ
Mike H
Reference to Southern Sea Fisheries minimum sizes leads me to question, what does the club use - this list or the NFSA one? Perhaps the answer is somewhere obvious and I should have spotted it - if so, apologies.
Maverick Martin
Mike The club uses the NFSA minimum size list with the NFSA wessex specimen list unless the local byelaws or national laws are greater (unlikely) then naturally they would apply Martin

Whjy is this? is it to do with breeding? PJ Female lobsters have a V notch cut into their tail and these lobsters are then returned. It is illegal to keep such a lobster.
