It is an interesting judgement ( as was the outcome from the Demon case a few years previously ). In the Demon internet case, the outcome was that if the poeple running the forum remove any posts, then they are liable if defamatory or libellous remarks are not removed.

 

Seems fair enough to me though, if someone wants to "bad mouth" someones else on a public forum, then they had better be able to substantiate their allegations ( So I think you are OK there Fred biggrin.gifbiggrin.gif )
