munterhunter Posted March 23, 2004 Report Share Posted March 23, 2004 Fished Canford Cliffs last night a 1lb plaice on 1st cast @40yds out. Missed 3 other schoolie bites (size 4 hooks on 2 hook clipdown so perhaps a bit too small for the bass?) all in close, nothing at distance on 1 hook clip down. However nick and jim fished sunday night and had 4 bass to 1 3/4lb and a dab and a plaice in 3 hours (there was more surf so perhaps the schoolies were in closer?)
