They will have following :- 1) Dials in using Tiscali 2) Has sales@rotomation.co.uk in their address book 3) Has geoff@boatlaunch.co.uk in addy book 4) Has a Gareth<>@baesystems.co.uk in addy book. Swainiac Posted March 17, 2005 Report Share Posted March 17, 2005 Paul, I use Tiscali to launch onto the net, but I run a firewall, and regularly use a virus scanner. I clean the hard generally every week, and have had, historically, three forms of the netsky virus. The last clean up was done three days ago. Is it moi?? Paul D Posted March 17, 2005 Author Report Share Posted March 17, 2005 Well Rich, I did suspect it might be yourself - rotovation.co.uk was a good clue ( I cant tell who exactly and I wasn't going to go around "accusing" people !! ). If you have a virus scanner then it should find the worm if it is still present and clean it off your PC. It is worth knowing it was there though. ( By the way I use the free one available from AVG. ) Free AVG virus scanner. ( a little big for a dial up connection but worth getting if you havent got a virus scanner already. ) I know I received e-mails at around 16:00 on 16th March. also included e-mails puporting to be from strawbett@hotmail.com Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
