Brian Posted September 26, 2013 Report Share Posted September 26, 2013 If you have Smart Tabs, check the top of the cylinders.Both of mine rusted through, they're made of Mild Steel. I emailed Nauticus and they thought 4 years was a reasonable life time for them. The cylinders only have a 2 year warranty.Before I fit the replacements I'll pull the top of the gaiter down and paint the cylinder with Hamerite and then seal the top of the gaiter with silicone to keep the water out.
