Maverick Martin Posted December 19, 2017 Report Share Posted December 19, 2017 Mariners are advised that maintenance dredging is planned to commence on Wednesday 20th December to ensure depths are as advertised. The areas to be dredged are the ‘Turning Basin’ and the ‘Little Channel’ and all spoil will be deposited at the Swanage spoil ground. The dredger ‘Coasta Verde’ will be operating on a 24 hours basis for approximately ten days, will display appropriate light and shape signals and will maintain a listening watch on VHF channel 14. Mariners are requested to give this vessel a wide berth while dredging. Mariners are reminded that Radar, AIS, CCTV, telephone and VHF channels are recorded.
