Adam F Posted April 4, 2005 Report Share Posted April 4, 2005 I have been after an uptider for a while now, but always struggle with the current offerings on the market as I find them too restricted, i.e they are fine for what the are designed for, but whilst they will double up for other types of fishing they are not ideal. I bought a Penn Giller Thriller about 2 months ago, not because I needed another rod, but because it was a good deal. Bob F Posted April 4, 2005 Report Share Posted April 4, 2005 ...and during the Burnham trip I managed to haul up a 50lb+ conger on a Giller Thriller.
