Sam Posted January 1, 2005 Report Share Posted January 1, 2005 hi all im thinking of going beach fishing on wednesday with my mate because he got a load of gear for christmas and is as keen as mustard to fish. i cant get out on the boat so i wondered if any of you know any good places for beach or shore fishing quite close to poole quay just for a couple of hours i was thinking about trying holes bay for some flounder but i was wondering if any body new any better places. my friend suggested round by the entrance to the harbour does anybody know if thats anygood i know its quite good for bass in the summer but i didnt now about the winter. any suggestions? tight lines sam Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Bob F Posted January 1, 2005 Report Share Posted January 1, 2005 Sam, I'm not a shore expert, but from what I've heard lately, the best chance of catching anything would be at Holes Bay, Rockley or Baiter Park for flounder.
