Kam,

 

You'll find all you need HERE, it's the 12N socket you are interested in.

 

I would suggest checking behind the trim, in the boot of the car, on the near side... you may find a connector which will have the Right Side Light and Indicator wires in it.

 

If so, this will remove the need to split the 7-core cable between the RH & LH side of the car.

 

You need an audible, or dasboard light, warning... which indicates that the trailer is connected when indicating... the Self-Contained Relay/Buzzers are by far the easiest option.
