I think that Pete was using a Penn Extreme 12/20 and Chris started with a Shimano Antares 20/30, but bought a Penn Waveblaster 6/12 from Alderney Angling the next day... pirky Posted May 25, 2010 Report Share Posted May 25, 2010 Tom ....I have just been looking at the Penn Waveblaster 8/12 lb class......they do it in two versions.....a long tip and a standard two equal section.....which is prefferable...And how do these rods compare to the Ugly stik 12 lb ?? I have an Abu Ambassadeur Elite 7ft 9" 20lb uptider that seems quite sporty with the cod...not sure it would cope with a 50 tope !!..there seems to be so much variation in power / actions of these rods and not all very consistent info...
