munterhunter Posted July 30, 2004 Report Share Posted July 30, 2004 Weather forecast looked promising so took thursday PM off, we decided to do some drift fishing as would be less bumpy for nick and went down to southborne sewer bouy. Bagged up on maccy. Then drifted with a baited spoon I had small bream, a gurnard and a 1 3/4lb plaice. Nick blanked. I also reeled in half a live mackerel on my heavy kit after missing the tope bite! wind picked up so came into harbour as too bumpy for nick but was too much weed so called it a day in by 5.
