Lovely morning.....bit chilly to start with in the shorts... but nice and calm with an offshore northwesterly [and this does pin you into the warming sunbeams!] Mackeral everywhere on the flooding tide....... they disappear/ thin out later, at the top of the tide....... Difficult to contact bream with mackeral hitting the fish strips...... then those bream there tending to be the little 'nippers'...too small to snatch the 1/0 hooks.... ...... but the bonus is three, hard fighting bass.....up to four pounds....great sport on the bream tackle.
