His brother in law (Cedric and friend Norman Tweedle) were fishing aboard Ian Burrett's boat "On Yer Marks" in Scotland when they landed a monster tope that gave a weight / length best guess of 104lb. The fish would have smashed the British record, but she was released unharmed. Norman Tweedle was the angler. Email read: Subject: British tope record smashed !!! Date Sunday 5th August.
