munterhunter Posted April 23, 2004 Report Share Posted April 23, 2004 One of my dad's work colleagues has an Arvor 20 and because of where the fuel cap is managed to get water into his fuel tank and ended up being towed back in, he brought the boat second hand and it looks as is the thread to the fuel tank had been worn away (most probably brute force by previous owner rather than over use) luckily the filters did their bit so only new ones were required oh and a new fuel cap section. Just thought let people know if they have fuel caps in a similar place on the stern or are looking at second hand arvor/quicksilver boats of this type.
