Coddy Posted August 26, 2006 Report Share Posted August 26, 2006 Hi Launch Sammy today into Poole harbour, and when we tried the engine the tell tail was spluttering with water then none then water but in all cases with no force. I rang Tony, who was fortunatly working and he said bring the boat back around. So back on the trailer and off we went. After trying a number of things we all concluded that something is restricting the water flow and Tony now thinks it is a blown gasket/O ring where the engine joins the gearbox. Unfortuately he does not have all the parts so it wont be fixed until Wednesday at the earliest! As I work in Bicester, home of Barius, I might have to pick up the spares to speed the repair along! So tried Holes Bay with a beach caster to use up the worms, Bill managed a schoolie bass but I only managed the greater weed fish and its mate the lesser weed fish when the tide turned.
