jack Posted March 9, 2005 Report Share Posted March 9, 2005 Long john Silver,as ships cook,takes the longboat to go fishing.He takes with him,his parrot and the cabin boy.When they are sat fishing the cabin boy remarks,"why has your Parrot got a piece of string dangling from each leg ?" "aaargh ! " says Long John."when I do pull the string on his left leg,he do root about in the bait box and fetch out a nice worm, and when I do pull the string on the right leg, he do shove it on the hook.".... "thats clever, says the boy, what does he do if you pull on both strings at once ? "... "He do fall off the ruddy perch lad !."
