Oil coming from CAC/aftercooler vent.volvo Tamd22

Hi everyone.

Just finished running in rebuilt engine, never trusted it tbf after cowboys had it.

And whilst out oil pressure dropped 20%, whilst at 90% throttle.

And theres oil coming out of the aftercooler/crankcase vent hole. About 1 litre, continues dripping.

I cant get my head around the routing, and how its ended up there. Was at high revs it happend.

Im guessing either turbo or head gasket.

Trusted the wrong monkeys :-(

Should name and shame really!

Just Spoke to a turbo specialist bout a rebuild.

But as theres hardly any play in the turbo.

I agreed that its more likely the crankcase pressure, stopping the the turbo oil draining at high revs.

Since they rebuilt it, blow by has been a choo choo. And it gets bad at high revs (blew oil cap off). So obv the new piston rings weren't done correctly.

Oh well. Engine out again.
