Afishionado Posted November 29, 2004 Report Share Posted November 29, 2004 First off there is a guy with a workshop at the end of Warwick ROad Boscombe who rewinds and overhauls starter motors and alternators. If need be I can look him up. Secondly I know from experiance that many Volvo Marine parts are interchangeable with Volvo Automotive parts. Taking you old starter as a patern a visit to Trents at Upper Parkstone might be worth while. Ther is also a commercial vehicle dismantler that I know who may have a Volvo truck part that will fit.
