If I do cancel the alternative date will be the 13th Dec. After that it would mean combining the Xmas Fayre Flounder comp or forgetting it all togoether. Blasted weather!! Apparently Poole Harbour Commisioners are holding an excercise with the chain ferry on Sunday between 0930 to 1100. Jim Posted December 4, 2009 Report Share Posted December 4, 2009 Yes Paul, Reminds me of an ex, back in Coventry. I said I wanted to go to Warwick and fish the river. She thought it would be a good idea for her and her young son to come. We could pick up my kids, and make a day of it. She made sandwiches and off we went. She wanted me to turn around and face HER ! I said she could lay the rug at the side of me and lay out the sandwiches there while I carried on fishing ( quite reasonable I think ) No ! She emptied a pint of magots on my head and ran off ! ! !
