Member Removed Posted September 18, 2009 Report Share Posted September 18, 2009 Hi everyone, my name is Alan and am looking forward to being a member of PBSBAC. I am quite new to both seamanship and angling. I have been fishing off of Hengistbury Head out of the run in a small inflatable with a 4 hp outboard. I have had moderate success. I have also visited Poole harhour three times and caught zilch. I am 59 and recently retired so can go out during the week whenever the weather and tides are ok.Often when out I feel it would be so much more secure if other friendly boats were near by. I would also be very keen to crew for anyone else. I am very anxious to learn more about the sea, boats, fish and techniques. I have only had books as a resource so far.
