Neal
It would appear that there was no cod caught by a club member during the recent Poole Sea Angling Centre / PBSBAC competition ย Another attempt is being held on the 27th January if anyone fancies another go. Neal
It is cancelled - it may be attempted next weekend! It would be nice to just be able to get out and try to catch something...anything. ย If no cod, whiting over 2lb 8oz to be considered for a prize... Mal Thomas
Sunday's weather is a small window between high winds before and after. The window could disappear rapidly so keep watching this post. The sea conditions might also be quite rough as there is not much time for the sea to calm down. Mal Thomas
The wind has moved around to the SW, that will be warmer but could increase in speed. Lets hope not. Jim
Mal Thomas
The competition is cancelled due to an increasing forecast and lack of entrants. ย The larger boats would have too much of an advantage over the small boats. I think it will be nice early doors if you fancy wetting a line but be prepared to retreat inside the harbour at midday. Sorry everyone. Safety first.
