Hi Mike,

I used to have a Warrior 165 and sold it to downsize for 2 reasons.

1 ) laziness.

2 ) Knackered knees.

I can tell you they are a very well built and solid boat.

They are very good on the water.

Warrior in my experience are a superb company to deal with and are always happy to help. They are great for advice too.

You can tow with a medium sized car ( check you car's spec )

It will be a braked trailer so if you're buying second hand make sure it has a hub flush system ( they are fantastic )

Bearing savers too.

Beware buying with a small engine.

I think 50 hp is too small.

I had an E-Tec 75 on mine and it was great.

I now have a Honda 50 ( on my little Tiddler ) and although it's a superb engine. The servicing costs are a pain.

If you go for a four stroke larger engine you will probably need Trim tabs. ( I think Brian has them )

Anyway . . . . that's enough waffle from me.

Hope I've been of some help.

Jim
