Cargo vessel in yacht collision

Two sailors had to be treated for shock after a 88-metre (289ft) cargo vessel collided with four moored yachts.

It is believed the ship was moving berths in Poole Harbour, Dorset, when the incident happened on Wednesday.

No-one was injured in the collision at 2030 BST but two yachts were badly damaged. The two treated for shock were from a German yacht crew.

A coastguard spokesman said: "The vessel appeared not to take a turn properly, for some reason."
