Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and would like to introduce myself -

My name is Mark Towersey and I have recently set myself up as a mobile outboard technician.
I am based in Southampton and work along the south coast area.
I have worked in the industry for the past 15 years, with experience on all makes and models of outboard engines, specialising in Mercury / Mariner (which I have the latest diagnostic equipment and tools for).

Please feel free to contact me for advice / quotations and any queries either through this forum, email or mobile -

Just to say that I took the plunge and contacted Mark and made arrangements for him to come and give my Opti it's annual service today.
He arrived early, made a very professional job of servicing the Opti, and didn't even complain about the tea!
Mark used all genuine parts, has the laptop and diagnostic kit required to check out the outboard properly, and due to his experience and official setup, the service has maintained the Mariner 5-year warranty.
Even better, Mark even made time to service my aux (4hp 2-stroke Mariner) so now I am absolutely ready to go fishing!
I can therefore reccomend as a very professional and thoroughly nice chap. wink.gif

Just because you're paranoid, it don't mean they're not after you...

There is something fishy going on here - Charlie is never complimentry about trades men! Or maybe he is good!!!!

Nice to know we might have a reliable and professional OB tech available locally.

Does anyone know if Mark is still doing this?

A friend of Carol needs someone to visit Broadstone to service a Mariner 25 four stroke.

Luke Watts at Saltwater Solutions comes to Rockley to do my Suzuki, I'm sure he'll go to Broadstone.

He used to work for Yellow Penguin who were Mariner and Suzuki agents so knows what he's doing.
