  1. Regrettably, my regular crew has had a heart attack and is on light duties so, I'm out. Terry.
  2. There's also a free one at Portland just before the old entrance to the Naval establishment, right by the harbour exit, next stop the Shambles. Terry.
  3. Perhaps we could suggest that they work with their colleagues in Sussex. Terry.
  4. You do realise, as the husband, this is all your fault? Give Jackie my love and tell her to be more careful. A bit superfluous under the circumstances. Terry.
  5. There was a degree of whimsy in this. Terry.
  6. I can take one or two of the older ones. 😉 Terry.
  7. Same thing in Christchurch Harbour? Terry.
  8. I think it's every man/woman for him/herself, no quarter given. I know I didn't cover all the bases but, life is too short. Terry.
  9. I used to be the national expert on Madeira when I ran Madeira Holidays. A truly beautiful place with great walking. No beaches, apart from 1 artificial one, A great harbour and marina. The fishing is difficult because, being basically a volcano originally, it soars up from the bottom of the Atlantic very precipitously so incredibly deep very quickly. Try the local espada fish in the restaurants, delicious.
  10. Because if we don't let them have access to our fish, they won't play nicely with us. Terry.
  11. I'm shocked to learn that us and the Norwegians are, arguably, the biggest harvesters of Atlantic mackerel. So, perhaps we could do some good. Terry.
  12. Unless they can bring the Russians on board who have the biggest industrial harvesting machines which seem to operate anywhere they like, very little hope. Terry.
  13. Make the most of the food! Terry.
  14. I'm watching the forecast, no crew yet. Terry.
  15. Not exactly years but there seems to be an ever changing cycle of annoyance. I think they've been driven out by congers, bloody things seem to be everywhere. Also, this year I have caught far more wrasse whilst lure fishing for bass. Terry.
