Gaz and Jackie caught their fish off Southbourne rough. most other prizes came from marks within half a mile from the shore. The tides have been picked for the smaller boats not to compete with large boats going miles offshore to bag up on congers and such. My boat is a Sealine S23 cruiser, not the ideal fishing boat but i'm going to give it a good try. I do not have much experiance with either boating or fishing. Anyone out there that is experianced in both boating & fishing and maybe their boat is out of commission but would really like to enter the competition, get in touch. I know it is short notice but you have to try. Or anyone need crew for the day, I am happy to just be there picking up info and helping out.
